Poverty levels in Carlow and Kilkenny are higher than the national average according to Social Justice Ireland.
With CSO statistics revealing that more than three quarters of a million people are now living in poverty in Ireland, there’s been a call on the Government to review policy.
Sean Healy of the advocacy group told KCLR news the Government made bad choices which have now resulted in widening the gap between rich and poor alarmingly.
