The Carlow senior footballers suffered their second loss in this year’s O Byrne cup last night,losing out to Athlone I.T by 1-15 to 0-13.
The students recovered from trailing at half time to win by 5 points,despite the presence of Sean O Brien on the sideline for carlow

I.T Carlow also suffered their second loss of the O Byrne cup,going down to Meath in Navan by 0-18 to 0-12.

Daniel Watson came off the bench to score two goals for Dublin in a 2-6 to 8 points win over Louth at Parnell Park, UCD overcame Wexford 2-12 to 3-3 , DCU beat Westmeath 2-15 to 2-9, and Wicklow overcame D.I.T 1-21 to 3-13.
Conor Meredith and Martin Scully grabbed goals for Laois as they beat neighbours Offaly 2-18 to 1-15
