The rescue helicopter airlifted a casualty from Kells in Kilkenny to University Hospital in Waterford yesterday evening.
Its understood a tourist suffered injuries after falling from a wall at the Priory in Kells after 7 o clock.
An ambulance couldnt access the site so the person was transferred to hospital by Rescue 117.
Meanwhile KCLR news understands a man in Mooncoin was also airlifted to hospital in Waterford yesterday following an industrial accident.
Its believed he was hurt by falling timber but injuries are not thought to be serious.
