The Kilkenny intermediate and junior hurling championships gets underway this afternoon.
The race to restore senior fortunes starts at 2.30 in Ballyhale as Graigue Ballycallan take on Glenmore
At 5 in Bennetsbridge Tullogher Rosberson meet St Lachtain’s while at the same time on the Kells Rd Conahy Shamrocks meet Dunamaggin.
Elsewhere Nowlan parks hosts the intermediate league finals.
At 2pm Thomastown face Lisdowney in the shield and at 4 St Patricks play Mullinavat.
In the Junior championship last year’s beaten finalists Bennetsbridge take on Windgap while Piltown face Slievrue with both games at 2pm.
There is a further four matches starting at 5pm.
