It’s a busy start to the weekend for St Luke’s as it’s the third most overcrowded hospital in the country today.
32 patients are waiting for a bed in the local Emergency Department according to the latest Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation figures.
Waterford and Limerick are the only hospitals with more people on trolleys today, at 33 and 43 respectively.
