The top international buyers are on a tour of Ireland’s Ancient East

Tourism buyers from 19 different countries are descending on Carlow and Kilkenny today.

The top international buyers are on a tour of Ireland’s Ancient East before attending Ireland’s largest tourism fair, Meitheal, in Kildare next week.

Their local tour is starting now (12.00) at Huntington Castle in Clonegal before moving on to Jerpoint Park in Thomastown for 2.45.

Kilkenny’s new Medieval Mile Museum, Kyteler’s Inn, Kilkenny Castle and Highbank Orchards will also be included along the way between this afternoon and tomorrow.
