Tragedy strikes for Leighlinbridge family

accident002A local community is coming to terms with the death of toddler in Waterford yesterday.

2 year old Daenerys Crosbie died after being hit by a lorry in the city yesterday morning.

Her mother Carol Anne is from Leighlinbridge in Carlow where her parents Damien and Mairead still live.

Local Councillor in the area Michael Doran told KCLR news they will do all they can now to support the Crosbie family.
