Patricia O’Connor, whose maiden name was Cooke, was from Windgap, Co Kilkenny.
The woman in her 60’s whose remains were found in various locations in the Wicklow mountains was from Kilkenny.
She’s been named as Patricia O’Connor from Rathfarnham in South Dublin but KCLR News has learned that the grandmother was originally Patricia Cooke from Windgap.
Sites have been sealed off in Wicklow, Dublin and Wexford as part of the investigation.
A 32-year-old man, who was arrested on Tuesday, has now been charged in connection with her death and is due to appear in court in Tallaght District Court today.
