Kilkenny Fianna Fail Councillor unveiled as Renua candidate for by-election

Kilkenny Councillor Pat McKee has declared he is leaving Fianna Fail for Renua Ireland.

The 26 year old was unveiled on KCLR Live this morning as the brand new political partys candidate for the Carlow Kilkenny byelection in May

He had already declared his interest in running for Fianna Fail in the by-election but then stepped aside for Bobby Aylward at the end of January.

Sinn Fein claim that Councillor McKee then approached them about joining up – something he denies.

But the partys by-election candidate Kathleen Funchion says he met with her.
