Melissa O’Neill says she has no intention of resigning her position on Kilkenny County Council.
The Ferrybank Councillor has told KCLR News that she is still suspended from Sinn Féin following disciplinary proceedings initiated against her earlier in the year.

Her suspension came after a video was posted online showing her publicly arguing with her neighbours and making obscene hand gestures.
It’s understood there were also ongoing issues between the councillor and another local member of Sinn Féin.
Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor O’Neill says she has yet to hear back from the inquiry but she will be remaining on Kilkenny County Council.
