Kilkenny Restaurants keep their Michelin stars

Two local restaurants have retained their Michelin Stars while a third keeps its Bib Gourmand status.

Kilkenny City’s ‘Campagne’ and Thomastown’s ‘Lady Helen’ at the Mount Juliet Hotel have held onto their Star in the new Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2017 which has just been published.

They’re two of only 10 Michelin star restaurants in the Republic of Ireland.

Meanwhile, Sha-Roe Bistro in Clonegal, Carlow has retained it’s Bib Gourmand status.

This award recognises establishments that offer good food at affordable prices.
