One person has died in a collision on the main Carlow/Kilkenny Road this morning.
It happened at 7.30am at Garryduff near Paulstown on the R712.

The collision involved a truck and a car and the male car driver (50 years of age) died at the scene.
The truck driver was taken to St. Luke’s General Hospital but his injuries are non life threatening.

The road is currently closed pending an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
