Cold spell on the way this week says Carlow weatherman

There’s another cold spell on the way later this week with ice, sleet and even snow expected.

A sharp drop in temperatures is being forecast from Thursday with the mercury set to hit as low as minus 4 degrees.

Alan O’ Reilly of www.carlowweather.com says it will come after a rise in temperatures on Wednesday.

We could see 13 degrees midweek but it’s all set to change after that with very low temperatures forecast for Thursday, Friday and Saturday at least.
