Local sports clubs have been paying tribute to the young man who died following a motorbike crash on Sunday night.
Eoin Doyle, from Dunamaggin died in hospital in Waterford following the crash near his home.
He was a member of the Ballyhale Shamrocks GAA club where he was on the senior hurling panel and he also played Junior Soccer with Thomastown united.
Both clubs have expressed their sadness at his death saying he will be missed by all of his friends.
Thomastown paddlers are also paying tribute to the young man saying his family are a huge part of the fabric of their canoe club.
Meanwhile funeral arrangements for Eoin Doyle have been made.
He will be laid to rest in Knocktopher tomorrow (Wednesday) after 12 noon funeral mass in the Carmelite Friary
