A large quantity of heroin was seized in North Kilkenny over the weekend.
The discovery was made on Friday at a house in the Castlecomer area.

In speaking to KCLR Live on Wednesday morning, Garda Lisa Mullins says it was a planned search.
It’s the latest seizure by the local drugs unit.
