Kilkenny County Council will be asked today to back the idea of “safe access zones” outside clinics providing abortion services.
Patrick McKee is bringing the motion to the monthly meeting this afternoon. It follows a number of demonstrations that have taken place outside clinics across the country in recent weeks.

Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor Pat McKee says this shouldn’t be allowed to happen.
