Massive tailbacks on M9 southbound in Carlow

Emergency services are dealing with a two car collision on the M9 motorway southbound at Junction 5 – Tinryland .

It happened shortly before 2:30pm this afternoon.

It’s understood that here’s a tailback of around 4 kilometers .

Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
