Power cuts for 1,300 Kilkenny city homes & businesses

More than 1,300 homes and businesses in Kilkenny City are without power.

A fault was reported at the MacDonagh station just after 11:30am.

ESB Networks says it’s working on the problem and expected to have power restored by 3:15pm.

Another separate outage in Tullow is affecting 28 customers – this smaller fault is expected to be repaired by 1:30pm.
