Our weekly Trees programme which looks at all aspects of trees but especially looks at the role of trees in relation to the economy and to climate change. In this programme Monica took a trip to Oak Park in Carlow and met Frances McHugh a forestry advisor and Ian Short, Dheeraj Rathore and Oliver Sheridan, who are research scientists, to see how the work that they do in the lab and elsewhere is translated into practical measures in the forest:
