Minister Simon Harris is reminding students across Carlow and Kilkenny to apply for grants as deadline approaches

The Higher Education Minister is reminding college students across Carlow and Kilkenny to apply for grants before the deadline.

A recent measure introduced means that families earning under €100,000 are eligible for €500 off of their contribution fee.  The deadline to apply is Thursday November 2nd.

Minister Simon Harris is appealing for people to get it before its gone:

“So if you haven’t yet applied, please go to susi.ie, where you can find out more and see if you’re eligible.”

“So make sure if you’re eligible that you’re claiming this grant and that you’re getting the benefit of these cost of living measures to help you, to help your family, to help reduce the cost of education and to help put money back in your pocket.”
