Robert Grace’s star continues to rise.
The Kilkenny singer and songwriter has announced on his socials that his track ‘Fake Fine’ has gone double platinum.
For a single to platinum in Ireland, it must have sold at least 15,000 units, suggesting commercial sales of Fake Fine in the region of 30,000.
Streaming of the Graignamanagh native’s music far surpasses retail sales, however, with recent hits Not OK and Casper amassing almost 40m streams between the two songs.
It’s the latest marker for the talented local man and it looks like many more are set to follow.
