Inquest takes place today in Clonmel, County Tipperary into deaths of four young people killed in crash while travelling to a Leaving Cert results party

An inquest is due to get underway today into the deaths of four young people in Tipperary.

Last August 24-year-old Luke McSweeney was driving his sister Grace with her friends Zoey Coffey and Nicole Murphy, all aged 18, to a Leaving Cert results party when their car was involved in a crash.

The Journalie is reporting that Gardaí have concluded their investigation file for the coroner and an inquest will take place in Clonmel this morning.
