This is a programme series that sees Monica Hayes visiting parishes across Carlow and Kilkenny to get a sense of the place and to explore what’s important to the community living there.
This evening’s episode features Inistioge. There, Monica Hayes meets the Inistioge Community Council who highlight the role of the Community Centre in the village. She chats with local organisations like the Tidy Towns and the GAA and covers some of the important historical stories from the village. Inistioge has been nominated to represent Kilkenny in the Pride of Place awards and Carmel Cummins talks about how the village is making itself viable for the future.
