Carlow Superintendent issues witness appeal after Tipperary woman killed in crash last evening

The woman killed in last evening’s crash in Co Carlow’s from County Tipperary.

Aged in her early thirties, she died after her white Audi A4, partial reg 171D, was in collision with a white Mercedes Vito van, partial reg 172WX, on the N80 at Ballintrane just before 6pm last evening.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men from County Wexford travelling in that vehicle were airlifted to separate hospitals in Dublin – both are understood to be in a stable condition.

Anybody who travelled the stretch who might have information or dashcam footage is asked to contact Tullow Garda Station on 059 9151222.
