New Garda Superintendent for Kilkenny settling back into city station

Kilkenny has a new Garda SuperIntendent.

Tipperary native Seán O’Meara is settling back into the city station having previously served locally as a Sergeant and Inspector.

In an online posting he’s been outlining where his focus will be as he takes up the mantle of his new role which has a remit that covers most of the county, citing burglary, rural crime as well as the ‘scourge’ of drugs and more;
