We’re being warned of a cold snap heading our way.
Temperatures tonight could drop close to freezing.
Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather says we can expect “A much colder couple of days but thankfully not going to last too long but a very cold Thursday night, with temperatures dropping down to possibly as low as one or two degrees and there is a risk of that F word, frost, so it could be a frosty start in some areas on Friday morning”.
He adds; “There has been some wintry showers on the highland of Scotland, the good news is for Ireland there’s not going to be too many showers but some good sunny spells as well so if you hide away from that northerly wind it will be pleasant”.
