Labour selects local Councillor Seán Ó hArgáin to run in General Election for seat in Carlow Kilkenny

A fifteenth name has entered the ring locally for the General Election.

Labour has selected Seán Ó hArgáin as its candidate – recently returned as a councillor with the county council in Kilkenny, he’s the constituency chair for his party.

There are now nine men and six women set to have their names on the ballot sheets, all of the hopefuls based in Carlow are female.
