A motorist has been arrested in Kilkenny for dangerous driving after they failed to stop in Callan.
The Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit ran a check on the vehicle while on patrol and discovered the car had no tax, insurance or NCT. The driver was also on a learner permit.

It’s understood that the driver failed to stop for Gardai and shortly after, struck a ditch.
A quantity of cannabis was also discovered in the car.

The driver now faces multiple charges and a court appearance.
