Kilkenny’s senior camogie team will have fresh leadership for the 2025 season, with Katie Power stepping into the captain’s role and Kellyann Doyle serving as vice-captain.
The announcement comes on the back of a standout year for both players at the club level. Representing Piltown, Power and Doyle were instrumental in their side’s landmark victory in the Michael Lyng Motors Senior Camogie County Final last October for the first time ever.
Kilkenny Camogie has also help usher in a new era for the 2025 season with a key appointment off the field as Tommy Shefflin has been confirmed as the new senior camogie manager. The new manager also played a key role at the club level last season, serving as a coach for Piltown during their historic county final victory
Their first test of the season comes on Saturday, February 22nd, when they take on Galway in the opening round of the Division 1A National League.
