Three inspirational local students are bidding to raise as much as they can to help organisations that supported their families through difficult journeys.
Andrew Tector, Oisín Smithwick O’Brien and Caleb McDonagh have all been friends since First Year at Kilkenny College and are pooling their resources to run a half marathon on 14th April in aid of Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre and Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
A raffle will also be held as part of the initiative for which prizes are needed if anybody’s in a position to donate to that – or you can offer up some cash in support of the endeavour you’ll find details here on their GoFundMe page.
They told their respective personal stories behind their fundraising drive to our Brian Redmond on The KCLR Daily;
