The local Junior Minister says she’s still seeking an update on a Carlow site that’s being considered for accommodation for people who are under international protection.
KCLR News revealed last week that the Department had confirmed it’d received an offer for such a use at the former Toughers Restaurant property – it comes just weeks after its residents from Ukraine were moved out.
Minister Murnane O’Connor has been telling KCLR News’ Edwina Grace it’s something she is working on finding more about.
And she’s also been reacting to being among the almost 40 ministers named yesterday to travel abroad as part of the nation’s St Patrick’s Day reach-out.
