Free counselling sessions for men will begin in September

Over 15,000 free counselling sessions for men are set to begin from next month.

They’ll be able to access the support through referrals from their GPs.

Mental Health Minister and Waterford TD, Mary Butler says the funding will be recurring:  ”2 million euro has been ringfenced for support for men and mental health and this will be in place for the next few years also. ”
