The death has taken place of Sr. Assumpta Saunders,
Convent of Mercy, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Mullagh, Co. Clare.
Peacefully, in her 100th year, in the loving care of The Staff at University Hospital Waterford on Sunday, 19th October 2025.
Reposing at The Convent Chapel, Villa Maria, Talbots Inch, Kilkenny (Eircode R95 KC9R), on Monday, 20th October from 4pm concluding with Evening Prayer at 7pm.
Funeral arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 21st October at 11am.
Burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
