Old fire station in Tullow could be developed into arts centre

Plans are being made to redevelop the old fire station on Station Road in Tullow into a Municipal Arts Centre.

Carlow County Council’s Arts Officer outlined the project at a Tullow Municipal District meeting this week.

Proposals are to go before elected members in early 2026.

One councillor has raised concerns about parking potentially blocking emergency access to the fire station yard.
