Road closure in county Kilkenny town

Kilkenny County Council has confirmed that the Quay in Graiguenamanagh is currently closed to traffic.

It’s the second time this week that it has been closed due to flooding.

Kilkenny council say crews are on route to try and alleviate the water.

The town is waiting on a new flood defence system that officials say could take another four years before it would be completed.
