Man in his 20s arrested after operation thor raids in Carlow

One man has been arrested following searches under Operation Thor in Carlow and Dublin.

There’s been an ongoing investigation into a number of incidents in the Capital and across the country in 2025 spanning over 40 incidents including thefts, deception and unauthorised takings of vehicles.

The man in his 20s was arrested following an operation in Carlow yesterday and is being held at a garda station in the Dublin region.

Two other men, also in their 20s, who were arrested and charged last month as part of the investigation are currently before the courts.

The investigation remains ongoing.
