There’ve been further calls for the upgrade of a key road through Kilkenny, Tipperary and Waterford to be prioritised.

Government’s due to announce its spend on routes across the country next week and hopes are high the N24 is among them.

Tipperary TD Mattie McGrath in the Dáil called it a ‘lifeline’ for the region while calling on the Taoiseach and the Minister for Transport to deliver on commitments and finally move this project forward – watch his interaction with Micheál Martin here;
