Visitor Restrictions Introduced at St Luke’s Hospital Due to Norovirus Outbreak

Visitor restrictions are in place at St Luke’s General Hospital Carlow–Kilkenny due to a Norovirus outbreak.

Visiting is now limited to compassionate grounds only, with designated visitors required to wear masks on wards.

Restrictions also apply in the Paediatric and Maternity Units, limiting visits to one parent, guardian or partner.

Hospital management says the measures will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
