Multi-agency raid on outskirts of Kilkenny leads to two arrests.

Two men have been arrested after a major operation on the outskirts of Kilkenny City on Monday.

Up to twenty members of An Garda Síochána with help from Kilkenny County Council and an animal welfare charity, were involved in the multi-agency raid on the Hebron Road.

Approximately €10,000 worth of drugs were seized from a property, including €7,000 of suspected heroin and a further €3,000 of suspected cocaine along with 15 dogs.

An Ifor Williams trailer was also seized during the searches.

Investigations continue.
