Kilkenny Fire crew dealing with major oil spill in the town

Kilkenny City Fire and Rescue are dealing with a major oil spill in Kilkenny City.

Motorists are advised to approach Dean Street, Michael Street, Vicar Street, over new bridge, outisde Train Station and out the Castlecomer Road heading for the Newpark Hotel.

Road is very slippy and the advice is to please slow down while emergency services and council officials deal with the spillage.
