Fuel allowance extended to more families in Carlow and Kilkenny

1,590 families across Carlow and Kilkenny will receive the Fuel Allowance payment from next week.

As outlined in the Budget, the scheme will now be expanded to include those in receipt of the Working Family Payment.

The measure comes into effect next week and will be backdated to January meaning families will receive up to €380 on the 12th of March.
