Over €52,.000 in funding has been granted to agricultural shows in Kilkenny and Carlow.
It’s part of an announcement from Minister Dara Calleary that a pot of €1million will be shared in 2026 with 126 shows nationwide to benefit.

In Kilkenny, Ballyfoyle Agricultural Show gets €8,400, Castlegannon Show €6,700, the Iverk Show €11,400 and Welsh Championship Show €6,700.
In Carlow, the Tullow Show gets €10,700 and Raheendaw Horse and Pony Show recieves €8,400.
