Councillor Ben Ward to table motion at Carlow County Council meeting seeking scheme allowing people to report misuse of parking bays

Misuse of parking bays is set to come before Carlow County Council’s monthly meeting later.

Cllr Ben Ward says he’ll table a motion calling on the local authority’s Chief Executive to implement a pilot of a Text Alert scheme that would see you able to report the abuse of accessible spaces.

It’s proven successful in Gorey, county Wexford as well as in Lucan and Rathfarnham villages in Dublin.
