The winner of Carlows Student Enterprise Awards for a second year in a row is Coláiste Eoin, Hacketstown with their project timber tote.
This winning project will now advance to compete at the national level along with CBC Kilkenny for their minicaddy who claimed the Kilkenny award last week.
Dearbhla O’Dwyer from Carlow Enterprise Office told KCLR: “It’s great to see everyone getting involved from all different levels and obviously there’s a huge team spirit behind them as well. So the lads have really put in the effort throughout the year and it just went to show on their win there today, how well that they’ve done during the year.”
“It’s not to be forgotten that we had several other category winners across the Innovation Award and with Tullow Community School, the Sustainability Award went to St. Leo’s College and our Craft Award went to Borris College as well, as well as a few of the Entrepreneurial Spirits Awards to different schools as well. So we’re delighted for all of the pupils involved.”
