Gardaí involved in cross-border terrorism-related investigation make further arrests in Laois and Limerick

Two men have been arrested this morning by Gardaí involved in a cross-border terrorism-related investigation. 

The pair, both aged in their thirties, were separately picked up in counties Laois and Limerick and have been charged with appearances before Portlaoise District Court at 10:30am.

Two other men currently before the courts are expected to be further charged with the investigation and are also expected at the same court this morning.

The investigation continues to be led by An Garda Síochána Special Detective Unit.
