Eid will be celebrated by Muslim communities across Carlow and Kilkenny today, marking the end of Ramadan.
The occasion will feature in KCLR’S new series ‘Feasts and Festivals’ which is highlighting cultural celebrations across the world.

The programmes are co-ordinated by our Angela Doyle Stuart and for this one local residents Mohamed and Anwar have outlined how today’s focus will be on prayer, family and food but there’s also an element of giving back to those in need.
