Mick Flannery and Derek Ryan are just some of the stars set to grace a county Kilkenny outdoor arena this year.
Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre launched its 2026 programme last night with a special reception held at Stephens’ Barracks in the city and tickets go on sale at 10 o’clock this (Tuesday) morning.
The outline also includes Susan O’Neill who yesterday was revealed for another big gig locally.

Organising Committee’s Sharon Trayer told KCLR’s Martin Bridgeman “Every year we try our very, very best to get a good mix because we do want the Amphitheatre to be for everybody, we’re not trying to go down one route with one type of musical genre or anything like that, we try our best to get something so that everybody feels there’s something for them to go and enjoy in Ballykeeffe”.She adds; “It is for the community, it’s for everybody, we keep the ticket prices as low as we can to try and make sure that it’s as accessible every year for people so you’ll note the prices haven’t changed in the last few years and that’s a conscious decision on our part, Ballykeeffe isn’t about making money it’s completely not for profit, it’s full of volunteers doing everything free of charge because they love the venue and the reason we’re doing it is for the community and trying to keep it as successful as possible every year”.
Stay tuned for Martin’s full report on The KCLR Daily (10am-1pm).
