Kilkenny dominate wedding venue awards

Kilkenny has been named Ireland’s top wedding destination after winning six titles at the inaugural Wedding Venue Awards.

The county’s success was led by Langtons Hotel, which took home the overall Grand Prix award for best wedding venue on the island.

Other local winners included Mountain View for best outdoor venue and Newpark Hotel for best wedding hotel in Leinster.

The awards, hosted by WeddingDates, recognise excellence across Ireland and Northern Ireland, with more than 20,000 weddings taking place nationwide each year.
