An additional Bus Eireann service for secondary school students in the Gowran area has been secured, much to the relief of parents and local political representatives.
The extra bus and driver, which was confirmed this (Friday) morning to Deputy John McGuinness, is expected to be in place following the Easter Holidays.

Speaking to KCLR News, Deputy McGuinness welcomed the news which was relayed to him by Minister of State, Michael Moynihan.
Brendan Hayes, who is Chairperson of the Gowran School Bus Group, welcomed this morning’s development but said the community feels there’s still some work to do.
