Hunt on for three people believed responsible for alleged assault in Kilkenny city

Gardaí are continuing to track down three people believed responsible for carrying out an alleged assault in Kilkenny city at the weekend.

Two men and a woman appear to have tackled two brothers just before 10:30 on Sunday night on High Street, across from the Market Cross Shopping Centre entrance.

Both were punched in the face, one having his nose injured the other fell and hit his head off the ground.

Anybody who saw what happened or who has footage is asked to make it available to Gardaí at the city station: 056 777 5000.
